NIG merges London regional offices
30 April 2007 - From 30 April NIG's two London offices, one covering the City and the other the London region, will merge into a single business headed up by City Manager, Julian Rhodes.
Although currently separate units, NIG's London Region and City offices have been located within the same Fenchurch Street building since 2006. The new office will be known as NIG City and will continue to be located at 60 Fenchurch Street, London.
The development is part of NIG's focus on growth in 2007. The move will produce benefits for brokers in terms of improved service standards.
Commenting on the merge Julian Rhodes, City Manager NIG said:
"Combining the resources of both offices will provide NIG with greater flexibility and capability to maximise business development opportunities, work more effectively as one team, share expertise and further our growth potential within the London broker market.
"Our London and City brokers will see improvements as the teams are reorganised to align more closely with broker requirements for service delivery. There will be no reduction in headcount and our brokers will be contacted shortly to inform them of this positive step and to confirm any changes to contact details."
London Regional Manager, Tony Venus will move to a new position in Head Office to take up a strategic role as Customer Delivery Manager.
