NIG JOINS CASTLE COVER'S HOME INSURANCE PANEL
NIG is joining the Home Insurance panel for Castle Cover, the 50+ insurance specialists.
The addition of NIG to Castle Cover’s panel in February further strengthens the intermediary’s comprehensive range of products which already includes insurers such as AXA and RSA.
Launched in July 2006, Castle Cover has made significant inroads into the 50 plus insurance market, amassing over 250,000 policy holders across the U.K. The Poole-based company is already listed as the 3rd major brand in its sector.
Ben Thornton, Head of NIG Personal Lines said "We are delighted to be joining the Castle Cover panel. Castle Cover is an excellent strategic fit for NIG and a place on their panel of Insurers will help us to further consolidate NIG's position in the niche over 50's marketplace.
“2009 was a record year for the growth of our home book and I expect to see double digit growth continue into 2010 fuelled by the ongoing success of our Advantage product range in our core provincial broker market."
Simon Stanney, Head of Products at Castle Cover commented on the agreement by saying:
"We are very pleased to welcome NIG to our home insurance panel. The addition of NIG will add to our already strong product offering and further enhance our ability to offer the very best choice in cover and value for our customers.”
